Del tronco de Moncada Catalina
rama en virtudes siempre floreciente,
la cumbre coronó del eminente
monte a que Mongibella suya inclina.

Y muchos que este más riesgos fulmina
de sulfuro vapor, y llama ardiente,
ilustraban de aquella excelsa frente
lucientes rayos de beldad Divina.

Mas la inconstancia de la humana suerte
no permitiendo a siglo tan oscuro
de tan claras Virtudes luces bellas.

Con feliz sí, pero temprana muerte,
al Cielo trasladó su esplendor puro,
que de Corona le ciñó de Estrellas.
