Mariposa a la lumbre de unos ojos
siempre abrasado, nunca consumido,
mi pensamiento dulcemente ha sido
ciego por elección no por antojos.

Presente a los bellísimos despojos
donde el pincel su límite ha excedido
daba la vista, y el deseo atrevido
bebiendo llamas mitigaba enojos.

Arrebátame el sueño la hermosura,
a su vano teatro la traslada
tan viva que despierto me engañara.

Logré reflejos de su lumbre pura
cuyo el error llevó mi prenda amada
nunca durmiera o nunca despertara.
