Del ya postrero sueño en que yacía
el solícito amante se burlaba
Anaxarte, mirando que robaba
la nieve su postrera rosa fría.
Ella, rebelde siempre despedía,
no la dureza, mas el alma brava,
y al odio alcázar de alabastro daba,
que por blanda su carne aborrecía.
Vos no podéis ser ya, Lisi, más dura
y, puesto que os aguarde algún castigo,
será de tomar forma en mi amor tierno.
Seréis más inmortal en mi fe pura,
pues a vuestra dureza yo me obligo,
que en el mármol odioso, aunque sea eterno.
