Alzad, Señor, vuestra Sión divina
adonde, ingrato a tanto beneficio,
la deidad hizo el hombre sacrificio,
y, siendo él fulminado, la fulmina.

No logre la ambición de peregrina
la culpa en ese, aunque postrado, indicio,
que el sacrílego intento de su oficio
memoria templo hará de la ruina.

Si no es que, codicioso de la injuria,
temiendo que acabó ya la violencia
de dar a la impiedad postrer indicio,

(mientras no os solicita en nueva furia,
por no tener ociosa la paciencia),
queréis también sufrir veros sin templo.
