el mismo mal me presta resistencia.

convertirse en especie de tormento?
La costumbre de un largo sentimiento
hizo ya natural lo que es violencia;
sólo el mal me amenaza con su ausencia,
después que el mal me sirve de alimento.
Ya desespero de esperar la muerte,
supuesto que es un mal que dura poco
(bien que en la vida me sostengo apenas).
Cautela fue de amor contra mi suerte
herir el pecho hasta dejarle loco
porque después adore yo sus penas.
