en Finea diluvio sucesivo;
piedra que excluye el propio humor nativo
por quedarse más piedra, más tirana.
Helado pedernal, herido mana
vivas centellas que le fingen vivo.
Finea llora; miente el sensitivo
humor si acaso la trató de humana.
En tempestad de amor, amor, ondea,
y en agua, en rayos, en suspiros ciego,
repite de una muerte mil ensayos.
De fuego son tus lágrimas, Finea.
En tempestad donde es el agua fuego,
la muerte es corto efecto de los rayos.
