Hoy a tu brazo infiel, Hebreo esquivo,
yace Dios otra vez; no cual primero
divino fénix, en ardor severo
de altas cenizas se repite vivo.

Hoy nos llama a su amor lo discursivo,
pues amante murió tan verdadero
que, porque amor quedó por su heredero,
se nos vincula en fuego sucesivo.

Si pide el holocausto portentoso
plumas, que en ágil rapto den al suelo
noticias de misterio tan profundo,

no faltan, que a tu acento prodigioso,
insuperable Soria, fía el vuelo
un fénix de quien es Arabia un mundo.
