Aquel valor, Virués, que habéis mostrado
en el heroico proceder de Marte
siguiendo su honrosísimo Estandarte
con pecho de virtud y honor armado.
Aquel mismo mostráis en alto grado
siguiendo del divino Apolo el Arte
en su más bella y más excelsa parte
de sus dones altísimos dotado.
Y así Palma de Marte a vuestra mano
dará, y Lauro de Apolo a vuestra frente
la piadosa de Dios potente diestra.
