Días cansados, duras horas tristes,
crudos momentos en mi mal gastados,
el tiempo que pensé veros mudados
en años de pensar os me volvistes.

En mí faltó la orden de los hados,
en vos también faltó, pues tales fuistes,
que podréis en el tiempo que vivistes
contar largas edades de cuidados.

Largas son de sufrir cuanto a su dueño,
y cortas cuando hubiese de quejar;
mas en mí este remedio no ha lugar;

que la razón me huye como sueño,
y no hay punto, señora, tan pequeño,
que no se os haga un año al escuchar.
