Oí a la vil pasión desenfrenada,
ingrato a tu valor, le das aliento,
pues, fuerte capitán, muda de intento,
que quieres ya de una mujer gozada.

La trompa suena, el Parto se avecina,
y el pícaro sutil, que al cielo llega,
tu nombre aclama, tu persona esparce.

Necio me excusas, mucho ignoras Cina,
amor también es guerra, el campo marce,
que si es ciego el amor, la guerra es ciega.
