Ya pues que no resiste mi esperanza
de esta ausencia mortal el golpe fiero,
y cuido que será dolor postrero
este que renació en vuestra mudanza,

acabad con mis ansias la venganza;
que si de esta ocasión injusta muero,
libre, que en vida triste nunca espero,
sentiré en tanto afán tal vez bonanza.

Y si vos no sufrís que mi tormento
ponga término al daño con la muerte,
porque jamás descanse de mi pena,

diré contra mi mal que más contento
estoy con la dureza de mi suerte,
pues esto quiere en mí quien me condena.
