Cual de oro el cabello ensortijado
y en mil varias lazadas dividido,
y cuanto en más figuras esparcido
tanto de más centellas ilustrado.

Tal de lucientes hebras coronado,
Febo aparece en llamas encendido,
tal discurre en el cielo esclarecido
un ardiente cometa arrebatado.

Debajo el puro, propio y sutil velo,
amor, gracia y valor y la belleza
templada en nieve y púrpura se vía.

Pensaba que se abrió esta vez el cielo
y mostró su poder y su riqueza,
si no fuera la Luz del alma mía.
