La viva llama dais y luz ardiente
del rosado esplendor y faz serena,
la gracia y risa eterna, de amor llena,
a Venus bella, a Faetón luciente;
al cielo el que vos dio valor presente,
la suave armonía que resuena
en vuestra dulce boca a su sirena,
el olor, perlas y oro al Oriente;
la mano y color lúcido al aurora,
las flechas al Amor, que en mí herido
pecho gasta cruel con ardor ciego;
a mi triste vos place dar, Señora,
sólo esquivo desdén, ingrato olvido,
que en nuestro hielo encienden mi impío fuego.
