Yo vi en sazón alegre un tierno pecho
ufano dulcemente con mi pena,
y que anudarnos pudo en su cadena
el ya cortés amor con lazo estrecho.

Yo veo el bien que tuve ya deshecho,
y mi segura fe de cuitas llena,
y que el ingrato en impío afán condena
a quien halla en su agravio satisfecho.

Yo vi que no fui indigno de la gloria
que en su rigor me usurpa la mudanza,
y en sombra del olvido ya me veo.

Entristézcome siempre en la memoria,
desfallezco medroso en la esperanza,
y al fin pierdo la vida en el deseo.
