torció, de mil despojos ricos llena,
en lazos de oro y perlas la cadena,
y en nieve escondió y púrpura, atrevido.

Con la flor de las luces yo perdido,
llegué y apresuré mi eterna pena;
tiembla el pecho fiel y me condena;
huyo, doy en la red, caigo rendido.

La culpa de mis daños no merezco,
que fue el nudo hermoso, y de mi grado
no una vez le entregara la victoria.

Cuanto sufro en mis cuitas y padezco
hallo en bien de mis yerros engañado
y del engaño salgo a mayor gloria.
