Cual dejando el olimpo soberano,
por la columna ebúrnea y roja frente
las ondas y sortijas de luciente
oro mi luz movió en semblante humano.
En ellas centellando Amor tirano,
me anudó el corazón con red ardiente,
y blando puso el yugo a mi doliente
cuello entonces la tierna y blanca mano.
Promesa fue este dulce acogimiento
para el bien de esperanza glorioso
y fin del peso que sufrí cansado.
¿Qué no podré esperar de mi tormento,
si en hebras que el sol mira envidioso
me hallo estrechamente relazado?
