Estos ojos, no hartos de su llanto,
que a tan estrecha suerte me han traído,
lloren sin descansar el bien perdido,
si lágrimas prolijas valen tanto;
que cuanto mi dolor subiere cuanto
debe al mal y al amor, en lento olvido
sólo, a la ira y al desdén rendido,
cual cisne espiraré en funesto canto.
Y este cielo, enseñado a mi lamento,
podrá llevar por este campo abierto
mi voz triste a la causa de mi daño;
porque yo oso esperar que mi tormento,
pues es venganza indigna contra un muerto,
o venza o junto acabe con mi daño.
