Podrá imitar la singular destreza
del pintor el semblante generoso
y el rayo de esas luces amoroso,
si tanto cabe en la mortal bajeza;
mas ¿cómo imitará tanta grandeza,
tantos bienes que el alto y poderoso
Olimpo os dio, si al que es en ver dichoso
ciega la luz de esa inmortal belleza?
No puede merecer la suerte humana
bien de tanto valor, porque encogiera
en este corto espacio todo el cielo.
Baje Amor, ¡oh Francisca soberana!
y descubra esa imagen verdadera,
para que nunca envidie al cielo el suelo.
