El suave color que dulcemente
espira, el tierno ardor de rosa pura,
la viva luz de eterna hermosura,
el sereno candor y alegre frente;
el semblante do yace amor presente,
la mano que a la nieve de blancura
orna, pueden volver la noche oscura
en día y claridad resplandeciente.
En vos el sol se ilustra, y se colora
el blanco cerco, y ledas las estrellas
fulguran, y las puntas de Diana.
Tal vos contemplo, que la roja aurora
y de Venus la lumbre soberana,
en vuestra faz ardiendo son más bellas.
