Cual rociada aurora en blanco velo
muestra la nueva luz al claro día,
cual sagrado lucero, del sol guía,
sus rayos abre y tiende al limpio cielo,
cual va Venus a honrar el fértil suelo
de Cipro, y va en hermosa compañía,
con ella Amor, las Gracias y Alegría,
que Céfiro las lleva en blando vuelo;
tal, o más pura, esclareciente y bella,
al día y cielo y suelo dando gloria,
saliste, aquistando mil despojos.
Tendió a aquel punto Amor su red y en ella
sus alas quemó, preso, y la victoria
entregó de mi alma a vuestros ojos.
