Tú gozas la luz bella en claro día,
dichoso Endimión, de tu Diana;
mi Luz yo veo con la luz temprana,
y deseando pierdo mi alegría.

Tú duermes blando sueño en noche fría,
hasta que sale la alba roja y cana;
yo velo con herida nunca sana
la sombra siempre y luz sin la Luz mía.

En tu rosada frente y dulces ojos
Delia suspira, y tu robado aliento
de su pasado afán le aquesta gloria;

yo mi Luz sin dolor de mis enojos
veo con rayos de oro en alto asiento,
ingrata al que padece en su memoria.
