De mi blanca sirena la luz pura
de tierna y bella nieve se vestía,
y entre aquel frío dulce Amor traía
llamas en que mi alma ardiendo apura:
Al son suave, lleno de dulzura,
mi preso corazón con gloria mía
deja el cuerpo, y las alas, de alegría,
a perderse en sus ojos se apresura,
cuando el hielo se rompe y encendido
reluce, y el color de ardiente rosa
y el precio afina en su beldad serena;
y yo, con tanto bien enriquecido,
me renuevo con vida gloriosa
en la inmensa virtud de mi sirena.
