Mi Luz, así en la vuestra bella frente
nunca ofenda las rosas hielo frío,
y así blando al ingrato señor mío
vea en esas estrellas yo presente,

que me digáis, humilde amante ausente,
si en vuestro corazón hallo desvío,
si vuestro pecho tierno el desvarío
dulce, como en mi tiempo alegre siente.

Porque, por esa púrpura templada
en blanca y pura nieve, y por los ojos
suaves, do respira mi esperanza,

que en la más luenga ausencia y apartada
no vos negó mi alma los despojos
ni en mí temió el Amor jamás mudanza.
