Galanio, tú sabrás que esotro día,
bien lejos de la choza y el ganado,
en pacífico sueño transportado
quedé junto a una haya alta y sombría,

cuando -¿quién tal pensó?- Flérida mía,
traída allí de amigo y cortés hado,
llegóse y un abrazo enamorado
me dio, cual otro ahora tomaría.

No desperté, que el respirado aliento
de ella en mi boca entró suave y puro
y allá en el alma o del caso aviso,

la cual, sin su corpóreo impedimento,
por aquel paso en que me vi te juro
que el bien casi sintió del Paraíso.
