¡Oh, mano convertida en duro hielo,
turbadora mortal de mi alegría,
pudiste, mano, oscurecer mi día,
turbar mi paz, robar su luz al cielo!
El rubio dios que nos alumbra el suelo
corre con más placer que antes solía,
cubierta viendo a quien su luz vencía
de un mal causado, indigno y turbio velo.
Goza, envidiosa luz, goza de aquesto,
goza de aqueste daño, ¡oh, luz avara!,
¡oh, luz, ante mi luz, breve y escasa!;
que aún pienso ver -y créeme, luz- muy presto
cual antes a mi luz serena y clara...
y entonces me dirás, luz, lo que pasa.
