Dichoso monte en cuya altiva frente,
de pinos y altas hayas coronada,
hizo el santo varón nido y morada,
que la pobreza amó tan ricamente;
aire cual nuevo sol resplandeciente
que diste al serafín fácil entrada,
por do fue de las llagas trasladada
la imagen del Señor Omnipotente.
¡Oh!, del eterno amor nunca tan visto
amado amante, pues unión tan alta
salió del Hacedor con su hechura;
que lo que en él causó mi culpa y falta,
en vos, alma especial, nos muestra Cristo
ser privilegio y don, ser gracia pura.
