Soneto
Bendito seas, Amor, perpetuamente,
tu nombre, tu saeta, venda y fuego;
tu nombre, por quien vivo en tal sosiego
amado y conocido de la gente;
tu flecha, que me hizo así obediente
de aquella, por quien todo el mundo niego;
tu venda, con que me hiciste ciego,
y el fuego sea bendito, cuya llama
no toca al cuerpo, que es sutil y pura,
y el alma sola de su gloria siente.
Y así el dichoso espíritu que ama
dirá, tu rostro viendo y tu figura:
«Bendito seas, Amor, perpetuamente.»
