A las exequias de la reina doña Isabel

Mucho a la Majestad sagrada agrada
que entienda a quien le está el cuidado dado
que es el Reino de acá prestado estado
y todo al fin de la jornada nada.
La silla Real por afamada amada
el más sublime y más pintado hado
está en sepulcro encarcelado helado
su gloria al fin por desechada echada.
Si el que ver lo que acá se adquiere quiere
y cuanto la mayor ventura dura
mire que a Reina tal sotierra tierra.
Y si el que hoy ojos tuviere viere
pondrá o mundo en su locura cura
que el que fía de bien de tierra yerra.
