Venturoso ventalle a quien ha dado
fortuna todo el bien que pudo darte,
tus obras y color han sido en parte
pronóstico a mi mal desventurado.

Yo en los efectos soy enamorado,
tú lo muestras estar con algún arte;
viento sacas al fin de trabajarte,
yo de mi trabajar viento he sacado.

Si el favor de que gozas conocieses,
¿quién podría contigo de contento,
ya que de ufano no ensoberbecieses?

Envidia habría de ti si el mal que siento
sintieras; pero ya que lo sintieses,
tú la debrías haber de mi tormento.
