Hora podrás vencer, fiero recelo;
hora te hartarás, furia rabiosa;
hora quedas fortuna victoriosa
que estoy puesto a tus pies ya por el suelo.
Ya no hay de qué temer, pues quiere el cielo
que, ausente de mi bien, tan trabajosa
vida viva, muriendo en sospechosa
congoja y en llorar mi desconsuelo.
Mas no harás, en ser movible y fiera,
con no estar en vencer un hora estable,
que no sea mi pasión lo que antes era.
Tan honroso es mi mal y tan loable,
que si puedes hacer que del yo muera,
yo sé que no harás que sea mudable.
