Quien tanto de su propio mal se agrada,
señora, como yo, razón le falta,
ni por nuevo dolor se sobresalta,
ni del que ha de venir recela nada.
Quien tiene el alma ya tan transformada
en vos, por ocasión justa tan alta,
si de un extremo grande en otro salta,
bástale la memoria enamorada.
Si no os puede gozar, que os ha gozado,
quien no puede con lágrimas moveros,
con la esperanza puede remediarse.
Mas ¿en qué esperará un desesperado
quien tan lejos está del bien de veros?
¿Basta pensar que os vio, basta acordarse?
