Estrella que mi mal todo influiste,
del bien que ya pasó eclipsada esfera,
que al florir de mi verde primavera
en invierno enojoso convertiste.

Sigue tu curso pues, oscuro y triste,
muéstrate, si sabrás, airada y fiera,
que yo siempre seré el que antes era
y tú ya no serás quien siempre fuiste.

De mal vaya a peor mi mala suerte,
que no podrá estorbarme aquella gloria
que en la mente quedó del bien perdido;

salvo si de piedad hace la muerte
que pague con la vida la memoria
el lago oscuro del eterno olvido.
