¡Ay, falso burlador, sabroso sueño,
malamente traidor, me has ofendido!
¡Ay, nunca hubiera yo jamás dormido
o nunca se acabara tu beleño!
La saña injusta y el turbado ceño
me mostraste en amor ya convertido,
y en llegándome al vivo del sentido
el mal, me huyó el bien como su dueño.
¿Para qué fue, traidor, aquel mostrarme
tan llena de piedad a mi señora
y tan de su crueldad arrepentida?
Dejárasme así estar sin engañarme,
o fuera un sueño tal, no por un hora,
mas lo poco que queda de mi vida.
