El que está como yo tan desvalido,
tan sujeto a su mal, tan desmayado,
no puede su dolor mostrar pintado,
ni con palabra ser bien referido.
Liviano es aquel mal, ya lo has leído,
que el seso puede en sí tener guardado;
pero muy más liviano el que contado
puede ser de la suerte que es sentido.
No quieras, pues, pastor, importunarme
que te muestre en dibujo mis pasiones
para que la ocasión se entienda luego:
que como por la luz se saca el fuego,
se puede de tan altas ocasiones
entender quien las causa y condenarme.
