Aquel rumor que de improviso suena,
como de la experiencia está entendido,
robando la color, turba el sentido,
al alma de recelo o gozo llena.

Pero nace tal bien de aquella pena
que queda el tal rumor más conocido,
siendo el entendimiento socorrido
de las potencias que de sí enajena.

Así la vez que os veo, el sentimiento
se turba, y los espíritus penados
así correr, así alterarse siento.

Mas siendo al alma a dar favor llegados,
cuanto son de más claro entendimiento
quedan vencidos más y enamorados.
