Cual en la deseada primavera
suelen venir a nos Favonio y Flora,
cual se suele mostrar la bella Aurora
ante el rector de la celeste esfera,

cual en aquella dulce edad primera
Diana en selva se mostró a deshora,
tal vos, excelentísima señora,
parecéis a este pueblo que os espera.

Alégrate hora, pues, Liguria mía,
que si grande ocasión para gozarte
deseabas hallar, hoy es el día.

Si de dolor te queda alguna parte,
sea por no haber visto en compañía
de la nueva Diana el nuevo Marte.
