Sigue su curso el sol ya destinado,
y de su Hacedor tal orden lleva
que ni por ir más alto o bajo mueva,
ni se aparte ni deje el hilo usado.

Podrá la oscuridad de algún nublado,
noche, luna o eclipse, o cosa nueva,
hacer que no dé luz, no que remueva
el paso del camino acostumbrado.

Así sigue, señora, el alma mía
el camino que Amor quiso hacerme,
dando a mi voluntad fuerza el destino.

Bien podéis vos turbar mi fantasía,
privarme de la luz y oscurecerme,
mas no apartarme ya de este camino.
