- XXXVI -

Triste avecilla que te vas quejando
por feos ramos y por turbias fuentes,
pues que no son mis males diferentes,
vente agora aquí do estoy llorando.
Verásme de pesar desesperando,
de placer apartado y de las gentes,
después que aquellos ojos son ausentes,
por quien vivo muriendo y suspirando.
Lloras tu soledad y yo la mía:
consolemos los dos pues que tenemos
una misma razón de estar muriendo.
Y aquí, desamparados de alegría,
por aquellos desiertos andaremos
en llantos tristes continuo gimiendo.
