Como al tiempo al llover aparejado
se conforman con él la tierra y viento,
así todo dolor, todo tormento,
halla conformidad en mi cuidado.
Que en tanto el mal de amor es extremado,
en cuanto se parece al que yo siento,
y en tanto es congojoso el pensamiento,
en cuanto con el mío es comparado.
Por do, viendo en cualquiera que padece
dolor conforme por alguna vía,
es fuerza que de entrambos sienta pena.
Así descanso nuca se me ofrece,
que si acaso se alivia el ansia mía,
Amor me la renueva con la ajena.
