Esta piedra, puñal derrama seso,
este guante, este casco, este broquel,
la espada que rebana, como queso,
brazos, piernas, cabezas a tropel,

no pudiendo sufrir tan grave peso
como es la vida airada del burdel,
después de haber herido a Antón Sabueso,
salta atrás, y a las puertas cuelga de él.

Su cuerpo más arpado que un harnero,
un zafiro por medio de la haz;
en Vilches se recoge a ser ventero,

no por estar seguro y a solaz,
mas por servir a Dios tan por entero
que reciba su alma en santa paz.
