Tras los rosados de mi Lyda hermosa
rindió el amor tus labios de corales,
que si por dignos no, por serviciales
merecieron lograr suerte amorosa.

A quien les concedió la edad briosa
vibrar centellas a su llama iguales,
que a un tiempo hicieron desgajar cristales
de coral a coral, de rosa a rosa.

Y tal la suavidad fue de este empleo,
que el gusto apenas hizo breve ausencia,
cuando Lyda volvió con voz sucinta,

Y dijo: ¡o dulce bien de mi deseo!
si tal gusto nos da tu prima esencia,
¿qué gloria no dará su esencia quinta?
