Alma, que ya en la luz del puro cielo
ardes de santo fuego, a quien suspira
tu ausencia, con suaves ojos mira
y alienta a levantar el flaco vuelo.
Ceñida en torno tú de rojo velo,
la llama en mi lloroso pecho inspira,
porque sin odio, sin temor, sin ira
desprecié el vano amor y error del suelo.
Lloré yo tu partida, amé tu gloria,
y en tu último dolor creció mi pena
para seguir contigo el mismo hado.
Si la fe te renueva la memoria,
en esta sombra ven con faz serena
a consolar el corazón cuitado.
