Cual planta, que pidiendo el alto cielo,
muestra el verde remate y la belleza,
y del sonante rayo la braveza
la arroja con estruendo, rota, al suelo;
tal mi esperanza ufana alzaba el vuelo,
mas de vuestro desdén cruel dureza
sin gloria la derriba, con tristeza,
cuando menos debía a su recelo.
La aura, quede Favonio blando espira,
no concede, indinado, a la alma mía
Amor, que no se harta de mi daño.
Rendido el desamor y a vuestra ira
sufro desesperado con porfía
de mi dolor la fuerza y vuestro engaño.
