Preso en la red de amor dorada y pura,
y ardiendo en vivos rayos de belleza,
mueve el sutil pincel, y con destreza
su fuerza en vuestra luz mostrar procura.

La arte a su fin llegó, la hermosura
al intento excedió en extrema alteza;
en ella infunde el mismo su grandeza,
y espíritu se hace en su figura.

Su llama en él enciende a quien la mira,
y en la virtud, que halla soberana,
lleva el alma abrasada en alto vuelo;

y con la gloria eterna, que le inspira,
goza, excelsa y bellísima Diana,
el sereno esplendor del alto cielo.
