al imperio tirano del sentido.

y esfuerza el triste corazón cansado,

de él se aproveche nunca el ciego olvido.
Quien sabe y ve el rigor de su tormento,
si alcanza sus hazañas en mi llanto,
muestre alegre semblante a mi memoria.
Quien no, huya y no escuche mi lamento,
que para libres almas no es el canto
de quien sus daños cuenta por victoria.
