El color bello en el humor de Tiro
ardió y la nieve vuestra en llama pura
cuando, estrella, volviste con dulzura
los ojos, por quien mísero suspiro.

Vivo color de lúcido zafiro,
dorado cielo, eterna hermosura,
pues merecí alcanzar esta ventura
acoged blandamente mi suspiro.

Con él mi alma, en el celeste fuego
vuestro abrasada, viene y se trasforma
en la belleza vuestra soberana,

y en tanto gozo, en su mayor sosiego,
su bien en cuantas almas halla informa,
que en el comunicar más gloria gana.
