De la luz en que espira amor herido
al corazón altivo y desdeñoso

Doliome entonces mucho haber perdido
un punto y vi, en mi mal dolor dudoso,
gloria cierta, afán breve, bien dichoso,
y el deseo en sus votos ya vencido.

De hoy más amo y adoro cuantos daños,
celoso de mi suerte, Amor procura,
bienes viendo exhalar sus ojos bellos.

Eternos corran mis felices años,
y a mi alma abrasada en llama pura
siempre enlace la red de sus cabellos.
