Amor, pues me guiaste a vela y remo
por el dichoso mar de la esperanza,
¿cómo permites que de tal bonanza
se levante fortuna en tal extremo?
Si el grado en mi esperar fuera supremo,
pudiérasle bajar con tal mudanza,
mas dime en qué fundaste tu venganza,
si tanto no esperé cuanto ahora temo.
Responder se me puede de tu parte
que todo lo que digo y lo que siento
es tratar de razón do no hay ninguna;
mas quiero en pago de esto asegurarte
que nunca mudarán mi pensamiento
tu bonanza jamás, ni tu fortuna.
